Jiaodong International Airport(Comprehensive Transportation Center andParking Building) project adopts open-cut construction method. The buried depth of the structure isabout 2.5m, the wrapping surface of the wall is about 3.5m*0.85m.Each steel tube column is madeof 25mm or 16mm thick steel plate coil.And it is 30 meters high and weighs about 20 tons. It istransported to the construction site in sections of 17m+13m. The total amount of steel used in theproject is about 1,500 tons.
